Simone Massaro's projects

A connected ecosystem of companies
translating technological progress
into real-world outcomes
for society and the environment.

What are Simone
Massaro's projects?

My entrepreneurial journey spans technology, energy, gaming, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Today, I am focused on Eternal Tech, founded in 2024 to develop AI infrastructures around memory, knowledge and digital continuity. Before that came Free Mind Foundry and IntelliSync, founded in 2017, alongside WiSNAM and Rimlight Studios, ventures that explored industrial technology, energy, digital innovation and gaming.
Earlier in my journey, I founded BaxEnergy, in 2011, developing technology for monitoring and controlling large-scale renewable energy assets.

Across very different sectors, the common thread has always been the same: building technology that can move beyond the idea stage and create tangible, long-term impact. Some of these ventures have since evolved through acquisitions or integration into larger groups, while each has contributed to shaping the path that led to what I am building today.

Why do AI agents need persistent memory?

AI agents need persistent memory because, without it, every session starts from zero, and the context, decisions and knowledge built in previous interactions are lost. Persistent memory lets agents retain and reuse what they have learned, making their work more consistent over time. DeTwin, founded by Simone Massaro, addresses this need with the AGVM architecture, which turns agent memory into an organized knowledge infrastructure.

STARTED – JANUARY 2025
SIMONE'S ROLE – CO-FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
WHAT I SAY
We believe the next evolutionary leap is not producing more output, but building continuity.
What is Eternal Tech?

Eternal Tech is an artificial intelligence company, founded by Simone Massaro, that develops AI infrastructures designed to preserve identity, memory, context, and knowledge over time. Eternal Tech systems allow people, companies, and organizations to turn their informational assets into a living, searchable, verifiable, and evolving ecosystem.

Artificial intelligence is changing how we produce content, make decisions, and interact digitally. Yet most AI tools remain stateless, generating isolated output and discarding context. Eternal Tech builds software continuity: turning AI from a conversational chatbot into an organizational knowledge infrastructure.

For Eternal Tech, AI is not simply a technological layer to integrate. It is a new architecture through which to organize information, processes, relationships, and expertise: a technology that does not replace human knowledge, but preserves it, makes it accessible, and ensures its continuity even as tools, people, and organizations change.

Every Eternal Tech solution is interoperable with existing stacks, scalable over time, and designed around what makes each organization unique: its history, its language, its methods, and its memory.

VISION

The first generation of artificial intelligence proved how quickly content can be created. The next generation will have to prove how well it can be preserved, organized, and made truly useful over the long term.

We imagine a future in which every organization has a persistent digital memory: an infrastructure capable of understanding its own context, maintaining consistency across information, remembering decisions, preserving expertise, and ensuring continuity between past, present, and future.

AI should not simply answer a question, but become the place where an organization's knowledge is stored, updated, and passed on.

That is why Eternal Tech develops technologies that transform artificial intelligence from a conversational system into a knowledge infrastructure. An infrastructure that remains under people's control, evolves alongside their processes, and preserves identity, rules, relationships, and meaning over time.

GOALS

We build systems in which memory, knowledge, and digital identity become strategic assets.

We work to ensure that every document, procedure, conversation, piece of content, or decision can contribute to enriching a shared informational asset — always preserving context, provenance, and reliability.

Our goals are to design AI infrastructures capable of:

Preserving the knowledge assets of people and organizations; ensuring continuity across teams, processes, and tools; integrating artificial intelligence into existing digital ecosystems without creating fragmentation; making every piece of information traceable, verifiable, and contextualized; and building persistent digital identities able to evolve while maintaining consistency over time.

We believe the value of artificial intelligence lies not in the amount of content it produces, but in the quality of the memory it is able to build.

TRUST BY DESIGN

When a system manages knowledge, identity, voice, or memory, trust cannot be an element added after the fact: it must be an integral part of the architecture.

That is why every solution developed by Eternal Tech is built according to a Trust by Design principle. Every piece of information retains its origin, every permission is explicitly defined, every process can be verified, and every operational boundary is designed to be transparent.

Data governance is not just a regulatory requirement, but an essential part of the user experience. It means knowing where information comes from, understanding how it is processed, establishing who can access it, and always maintaining control over its use.

Our Content Policy and Privacy Policy represent the legal reference point for this approach; our job is to turn them into concrete, readable, and verifiable systems, so that trust, accountability, and transparency are not statements of principle, but structural features of every technology we build.

Free Mind Foundry

Free Mind Foundry

STARTED – 2017
SIMONE'S ROLE – FOUNDER
WHAT I SAY
We believe the most meaningful innovation comes from contamination — when different skills meet, share knowledge, and turn ideas into real projects.
FREE MIND FOUNDRY

Free Mind Foundry is an international hub where technology, knowledge, and people come together to build the digital future.

A campus designed to create connections between companies, startups, universities, research centers, and talent, turning collaboration into an engine of innovation.

A space where education, research, experimentation, and work coexist to create new opportunities within the digital economy.

VISION

The future of technology does not depend only on how fast we develop new solutions, but on our ability to create environments where people and ideas can evolve together.

Free Mind Foundry was created to build a meeting point between worlds that are often kept separate: industry and research, innovation and education, technology and people. We believe the most meaningful innovation comes from contamination: when different skills meet, share knowledge, and turn insights into real projects.

That is why we envision an open, international, and sustainable ecosystem, capable of attracting talent, accelerating new ideas, and contributing to the growth of the new digital economy.

THE CAMPUS

The campus is the heart of Free Mind Foundry: a space designed for working, learning, and collaborating in an environment built to foster connections and new possibilities.

Through spaces dedicated to coworking, education, events, and technological experimentation, the campus supports companies, professionals, and students on their journey through digital transformation. The goal is not simply to offer a physical place, but to build a community where knowledge and innovation can circulate freely.

An environment where collaborations are born, skills are developed, and ideas can turn into concrete solutions.

ECOSYSTEM

Free Mind Foundry is designed for those who want to take part in the technological transformation: companies looking for new paths of innovation, startups aiming to grow, researchers who want to share knowledge, and people who want to develop new skills.

Through collaboration programs and applied research, the campus creates connections between the present and the digital future.

Because innovation does not come from technology alone, but from the people who choose to build together what does not yet exist.

Forward Invest

STARTED – 2026
SIMONE'S ROLE – Founder and President
WHAT I SAY
Founders deserve investors who have built technology companies themselves. Capital alone rarely decides whether a business succeeds.
What is Forward Invest?

Forward Invest is an investment holding based in Rome, founded by Simone Massaro. It provides capital and operational support to founder-led technology companies, and acquires small and mid-sized businesses in software, AI and cybersecurity, serving defence, energy and industry. Behind it is a team of engineers, operators and finance leaders who have founded, scaled and sold technology companies: €100M+ in exits and multi-billion-dollar deal closures across the team. Simone Massaro founded BaxEnergy, whose platform monitors more than 120 GW of renewable energy worldwide, and led it to its acquisition by Yokogawa Electric Corporation.

What is Forward Invest’s vision?

Forward Invest’s vision is a different kind of investor: one who has sat on the founder’s side of the table. Most small software companies in Italy are too small for private equity and never fitted venture capital. They are profitable, they matter to their customers, and their founders are on their own. We believe what makes the difference is a partner who understands the technology and the journey, not capital alone. That is why Forward Invest keeps team, brand, and customers at the centre of every company, and why founders, managers, advisors, and investors share in the same upside.

What does Forward Invest do?

Forward Invest works in three ways: investing, with tickets up to €100K for a minority stake, and an operating team working alongside yours; acquiring, in full or step by step, with most of the price paid in cash at closing and part swapped into equity in the group; operating, with one team across every company, covering finance, technology, AI, and go-to-market. Each company keeps its name, its team, and its customers. What changes is what sits behind it. Founders can stay in the chair, step back gradually, or hand over: the structure follows their goals.

Who is Forward Invest for?

Forward Invest is designed for founders who want a partner, not just a cheque: founders who still lead the software, AI, or cybersecurity company they started; companies that are profitable, with €500K or more in revenue; businesses whose customers renew because the product is part of how they work; companies in defence and dual-use, energy and industrial automation, or enterprise software, AI, and cybersecurity serving industry. Europe is the field, with Italy first. Because some of the best conversations start years before a transaction.

Rotonda Fontanarossa:
the story of
Captain Giovanni Massaro's Fiat G.91T

The Fiat G.91T at the center of the Via Fontanarossa roundabout in Catania is the aircraft once flown by Captain Giovanni Massaro, Simone Massaro's father. Its story runs from the 41st Wing at Fontanarossa to a monument for the whole city.

1965

1965 – The 41st Wing in Catania

On 1 October 1965 the 41st Wing (41° Stormo) of the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) was re-formed as an anti-submarine wing, with its 88th Group based at Catania Fontanarossa; in 1971 the group moved to nearby Sigonella. During the Cold War the wing carried out surveillance and patrol activities across the Mediterranean, and the Sicilian bases played a strategic role in controlling the air and maritime space of the area.

Bright Start:
building opportunities that last

For me, Bright Start is a way to give philanthropic work continuity, structure and accountability. The objective is not simply to fund an activity. It is to help create opportunities that can open new paths for people and communities, while building the conditions for those opportunities to continue over time.

-cit. Ing. Simone Massaro

The individual projects may differ, but they share the same principle: an initial contribution should create value that can continue beyond the moment in which it is made.

Bright Start is the foundation through which I am developing a long-term approach to philanthropy. My aim is to transform resources into opportunities, inclusion and better places for the communities around me, starting from Catania and Sicily. I do not see philanthropy as a series of isolated contributions, but as a way to create the conditions in which people, organisations and communities can grow.

Oratorio Contemporaneo

Oratorio Contemporaneo is a cultural project in development, promoted by Simone Massaro: a living, constantly evolving space where gesture, community and language intersect to generate something new. It is conceived not simply as a physical place but as a cultural ecosystem that transcends the traditional boundaries of art and gathering, connecting urban expression, creativity and collective growth. Every action will become part of a broader system: an open dialogue between individuals, ideas and territories, capable of building authentic and lasting relationships.

Oratorio Contemporaneo is designed with new generations in mind, yet it speaks to anyone who feels the urgency to actively engage in change, offering tools, spaces and visions to transform talent into impact. Its communities will not merely exist. They will be built, cross-pollinated and strengthened, giving rise to a new shared language that connects culture, identity and future.
